January 15, 2026 — Canaveral Fire Rescue has strengthened its emergency response capabilities with the addition of four new fire apparatus to its fleet, enhancing service readiness across the city and port areas.
The newly delivered units include Tower 52, Support Heavy 52, Squad 52, and Squad 54, each strategically assigned to improve coverage and operational efficiency. Tower 52, Support Heavy 52, and Squad 52 will be stationed at Fire Station 52, supporting operations within the City of Cape Canaveral and the port, while Squad 54 will be based at Station 54 on the north side.
Department officials say the new apparatus represent a significant investment in public safety, ensuring firefighters have modern, reliable equipment to meet the community’s emergency response needs.
