January 26, 2026 — Bay County, Florida Emergency Services reports that Bay County Roads and Bridges crews are currently improving approximately 1.1 miles of Dogwood Way in the East Callaway Heights area by placing asphalt millings along the roadway. The improvement is designed to make the road surface less moisture-sensitive, enhance durability, and reduce the need for routine maintenance moving forward.

The project is expected to take approximately four weeks to complete, and residents may see crews and equipment in the area during that time as work progresses to enhance long-term roadway conditions.
