Avon, MA — February 5th — Avon Fire and Police were called to a single-vehicle collision involving a Page Street residence. The Holbrook Regional Emergency Communications Center got many 911 calls at around 12:31 a.m. stating that a car had hit a house at 244 Page Street.

Responders discovered one car that had veered off the road and struck the building when they arrived. Firefighters made sure utilities were safe, guarded the area, and inspected the building for structural issues. Emergency medical workers on the scene assessed the driver of the vehicle. In order to control traffic and ensure scene safety, the Avon Fire Department, located at 150 Main Street, collaborated with the Avon Police Department. Avon Police are still investigating the incident.
