Wareham, MA — February 6th — After a water main break on Cromesett Road caused traffic jams and a brief water outage in the vicinity, water supply has been restored. While utility workers finished repairs, the Wareham Fire Department arrived to help with traffic management and scene safety.

To give crews access to the break during the event, traffic was rerouted via Swifts Landing, which is located off Swifts Beach Road. Customers of the Wareham Water District were informed that some discoloration in the water may occur as the system was brought back online, and water supply to Cromesett Road was cut off for repairs. While work was being done, firefighters requested locals to stay away from the area.
