Webster Fire / Rescue Assists Douglas on Mutual Aid

Webster, MA — January 14th — As part of a mutual assistance assignment, Webster Fire / Rescue Massachusetts, located at 55 Thompson Road, responded to an incident at 114 Martin Street in Douglas on January 14. The incident number 26-1279 was recorded for the response. Webster units were asked to support Douglas Fire Department workers while they were on the scene, according to information from the regional fire dispatch. In South Worcester County, mutual assistance responses are a standard component of fire agency operations, especially in situations where more personnel or coverage is required.


Regular operations of Webster Fire & Rescue are conducted in accordance with mutual aid agreements that have been established with neighboring communities. While preserving coverage in home communities, these collaborations aid in ensuring safe and efficient event management. Before returning to service, helping units coordinated with agencies on the scene, and no injuries were reported.
