Warren, MA — February 4 — A house fire at 458 Boston Post Road was responded to by the Warren Fire Department, which is based at 1012 Main St. Before firefighters arrived, one adult resident had fled the house with severe injuries. After dispatch, Deputy Chief Beauregard arrived on the scene in ninety seconds, and the first-due engine arrived in around four minutes. While personnel attempted to limit the intense fire conditions, firefighters started providing medical attention.

When a second alarm went off, the Palmer Fire Department covered the station while Ware, Brimfield, Brookfield, and West Brookfield supplied mutual help. The patient was taken to Rhode Island Hospital by UMass Memorial LifeFlight due to the severity of their injuries. The fire was contained. The Massachusetts Department of Fire Services and the Warren Fire Department are still investigating the reason.
