MACON-BIBB COUNTY, GA - On January 31st, the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department responded to an emergency on York Lane involving a child who had fallen into a storm drain with an estimated 12-foot drop. Engine 16 arrived on scene and immediately initiated rescue operations, utilizing coordinated teamwork and established rescue procedures to safely reach and remove the child from the drain.
