Southbridge Fire Manages Propane Issue at New Station

Southbridge, MA — January 29th — A propane tank problem at the new fire station at 129 Worcester Street prompted the Southbridge Fire Department to react in the morning. Firefighters guarded the local area as a precaution as qualified experts attempted to address the situation. Residents in the vicinity may detect the propane odor, according to fire officials. The smell was anticipated and connected to a controlled off-loading operation that Charlton Oil Company was carrying out in accordance with safety protocols.


Authorities affirmed that the public was not in immediate risk.
