Hinsdale, NY — January 10th —The Hinsdale Volunteer Fire Department supplied station coverage early this morning, while several companies responded to a working structure fire in the Liverpool Fire District. The department was activated at 02:17 a.m. and staffed with two full teams to assure continuous coverage.

During the assignment, Hinsdale Rescue 5, Engine 8, and Car 1 responded to two incidents within the Liverpool Fire District, including a motor vehicle crash and a fire alarm activation. Later in the shift, Rescue 5 and Car 1 responded to a motor vehicle accident in the Lyncourt Fire District. The coverage assignment allowed primary units in Liverpool to remain committed at the fire scene without reducing emergency protection in surrounding areas. Crews completed the assignment and cleared the station at approximately 7:00 a.m., marking the end of a busy overnight mutual aid period.
