Shrewsbury, MA — January 30th — The Shrewsbury Fire Department was called to a three-car collision near the intersection of South Street and Route 9 early in the morning. All of the affected automobiles were still at the crossroads when firefighters arrived, so they started to secure the area. To ascertain whether additional treatment was required, emergency medical workers assessed each vehicle's occupants. While fire crews dealt with car risks and road debris, Shrewsbury Police helped with traffic control and lane management at the busy intersection.

Responders worked effectively to restore regular traffic flow on Route 9, which is a heavily trafficked road in the morning. Until the intersection was cleared and safe for cars to drive through, police and fire departments stayed there.
