Baldwin County Fire Rescue Quickly Contains Structure Fire on Highway 212

BALDWIN COUNTY, GA - Baldwin County Fire Rescue units responded to a structure fire on Highway 212, January 26th. Engine 7, Tanker 19, Squad 17, Tanker 6, and Battalion 1 were dispatched to the incident, where firefighters encountered fire contained within a wall surrounding a chimney.
Crews initiated a swift and aggressive fire attack, successfully preventing the fire from extending further into the structure. The residence sustained fire damage to one wall and water damage as a result of suppression efforts; however, due to the rapid response and coordinated operations, the overall structure was saved. No injuries were reported.
