January 11, 2026 — Baldwin County, Georgia: Baldwin County Fire Rescue units successfully concluded operations Sunday evening at a woods fire in the 500 block of Stembridge Road, following a coordinated multi-agency response that prevented further spread and damage. According to Baldwin County Fire Rescue, Engine 5, Brush Truck 7, Squad 17, Squad 1, Battalion 1, and Georgia Forestry were dispatched to the scene, where crews worked methodically to contain remaining hot spots. Georgia Forestry personnel established a firebreak to secure the perimeter and reduce the risk of rekindling.
