Hubbardston, MA — January 20th — The Town of Oakham received assistance from the Hubbardston Fire Department, located at 48 Gardner Road in Hubbardston, Massachusetts, during a multi-alarm fire. In order to support water delivery operations, Tanker 1 was sent to the area as part of a mutual aid reaction. Multiple alarms were set off due to the incident's scale and duration, which brought in extra responders from nearby areas.

In a location with little access to hydrants, tanker workers worked for a long time to keep water flowing for suppression efforts. To assist with fireground operations, Hubbardston firefighters collaborated with the Oakham Fire Department and other local partners. Through mutual aid arrangements, coverage for the Town of Hubbardston was maintained while Tanker 1 stayed committed. There were no reported injuries to Hubbardston staff during the incident.
