On February 1st, the Special Signal Fire Association / Providence Canteen dispatched Canteen 4 to a second-alarm structure fire at 486 Putnam Pike in Glocester. The unit arrived at around 7:30 a.m. to assist fire teams assigned to the situation. Second-alarm fires frequently necessitate prolonged operations and increased crew.
