Regional Mutual Aid Sends Dudley Crews to Douglas

Dudley, MA — January 14th — The Dudley Fire Department responded to a Douglas mutual aid call. In response to an incident reported through the regional mutual aid system, Dudley units were sent to 114 Martin Road to support the Town of Douglas Fire Department. While Douglas firemen oversaw operations at the scene, crews arrived to offer extra manpower and operational support.


In central Massachusetts, mutual aid responses are a standard component of fire safety, enabling agencies to pool resources during emergencies while preserving coverage in their local towns. The incident was managed effectively thanks to the synchronized response. There were no recorded injuries involving Dudley employees. Dudley units removed the area and went back to work after finishing their task.
