Dudley, MA — January 12th — The Dudley Fire Department responded to a Charlton mutual help request. As part of the area mutual aid system, Dudley units were sent to 63 Number 6 Schoolhouse Road to help the Charlton Fire Department with an ongoing incident. While Charlton firefighters handled on-scene operations, crews supplied extra personnel and operational support.

This type of mutual aid response is typical in central Massachusetts and helps keep coverage at home while ensuring agencies have the resources they need during active crises. Both communities were able to stay safe during the incident because to the synchronized reaction. There were no recorded injuries involving Dudley employees. After finishing their job, Dudley units cleaned the area and went back into service.
