Emergency Crews Operating at Ramshorn Road Accident

Charlton, MA — January 23rd — The Charlton Fire Department was called to a single-vehicle collision near 88 Ramshorn Road. When firefighters arrived, they discovered only one vehicle involved and secured the area to deal with any risks on the road.
In order to control traffic and treat patients, crews collaborated with EMS and law enforcement. After being assessed, one patient was taken to a hospital for additional evaluation. During the response, no further injuries were reported. On local roads, single-vehicle collisions are commonly reported, especially in the winter when traction may be diminished. In order to keep scenes safe and restore traffic flow as quickly as feasible, fire departments throughout Massachusetts regularly collaborate with partner organizations.
