Athol, MA — January 19 — On January 19, the Athol Fire Department joined communities across the country in paying tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His legacy continues to promote service, fairness, and responsibility to others.


The significance of supporting communities via nonviolent action and a common goal was emphasized by Dr. King's work. These ideals closely represent the objective of emergency services, as firefighters and other responders serve residents from all backgrounds with professionalism and respect.
