Second Alarm Fire Destroys Multi-Bay Garage on Arlington Street

January 18, 2026— Fire crews are operating at a second alarm structure fire at 186 Arlington Street after multiple 911 calls reported a garage fire late Saturday night. At approximately 10:19 p.m., Engine 7 arrived on scene to find a multi-bay garage fully involved. A working fire was declared, and second alarm companies were quickly requested to provide additional manpower and suppression resources.
Deputy Chief John McInnis is serving as Incident Commander. Fire crews remain on scene conducting suppression and overhaul operations.
