ATTLEBORO, MA - The Attleboro Fire Department responded Monday night, January 26th, to a vehicle fire on Bliss Avenue that spread to a second vehicle before being brought under control. At approximately 10:30 p.m., crews were dispatched for a reported vehicle fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found a pickup truck fully involved, with flames extending to a nearby work van.

Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire, successfully preventing further spread and protecting a nearby residence from damage. Crews operated in difficult conditions, with temperatures hovering around 15 degrees. The extreme cold caused water to freeze rapidly, creating slippery and hazardous working conditions at the scene.

Fire personnel remained on location for approximately one hour to fully extinguish the fire and ensure the area was safe. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
