Worker Seriously Injured in Industrial Accident in Falmouth

January 21, 2026 — At approximately 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, the Falmouth Fire Rescue Department responded to an industrial plant for a report of a person suffering steam burns.
Fire personnel arrived to find a victim with significant burn injuries after being exposed to hot water used in the process of filling a cement truck. Due to the severity of the injuries, Boston MedFlight was requested, and the patient was transported by air to Rhode Island Hospital for advanced care.
