Attic Fire Contained at Foster Residence; No Injuries Reported

December 24, 2025 — At approximately 6:07 p.m. Tuesday evening, the South Foster Volunteer Fire Company and other Foster fire departments responded to a reported structure fire at a local residence. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered active fire conditions at the rear of the home, with flames extending into the attic space. Crews quickly deployed hose lines and initiated ventilation operations, successfully containing the fire to the attic area and preventing further spread throughout the structure. All occupants had safely exited the home prior to firefighters’ arrival, and no injuries were reported. Fire officials credited the rapid response and coordinated interior and ventilation efforts with limiting damage to the residence.
