Warren, NJ — January 29 — Together with Community Fire Company, members of Mt. Bethel Fire Company, which operates out of 128 Mount Bethel Road, held a department drill that emphasized firefighter safety and fundamental fireground abilities. Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) activities, which are used to find and remove a firefighter in difficulty during a structure fire, were the focus of the training. Crews went over synchronized maneuvers intended for low-visibility situations, air management, and search techniques.

In order to obtain rapid and efficient access to buildings, members were also trained in forced entry utilizing the department's door prop.
