FAIRVILLE, NY - On Sunday, January 21st, Fairville Fire Department Past Chief Dan DeWolf, 52, passed away after going into cardiac arrest while establishing a water supply at the scene of a house fire on Maple Ridge Road in the town of Arcadia, Wayne County. Funeral services were held on January 28th, at the New Life Assembly of God in Lyons, and a "Last Call" was held at the Fairville fire station on January 29th. DeWolf was a 32-year member of the department, serving as Chief from 2015-21016.
