January 10, 2026 — The Special Signal Fire Association / Providence Canteen responded during the evening hours to a major emergency in Bourne, Massachusetts, after being dispatched at approximately 6:45 p.m. to a fourth-alarm fire combined with a Tier 1 hazardous materials incident at 150 State Road. Canteen 1 was deployed to support firefighters and emergency personnel operating for extended periods under challenging nighttime and weather conditions. The canteen crew provided critical rehabilitation services, including food, beverages, and relief support, as multiple fire and mutual aid companies worked to control the incident. Their response ensured that first responders remained hydrated, nourished, and capable of continuing operations safely during the large-scale emergency.
