December 31, 2025 — Late Wednesday night, fire crews responded to a busy evening of emergency operations as Tanker-23 was dispatched on mutual aid to assist Exeter Fire Department #1 at a working structure fire. This marked the second mutual aid structure fire response of the evening for area departments, highlighting the high call volume and strong interdepartmental cooperation during the overnight hours. As operations continued in Exeter, Ladder-25 was relocated to Exeter Fire Headquarters to provide coverage, ensuring uninterrupted fire protection for the community while crews remained committed on scene. The coordinated response underscored the importance of regional partnerships and readiness during extended emergency incidents.
