DALLAS, GA – On Wednesday, January 24, 2024 Paulding County Emergency Management Agency volunteer Dave Fuller was presented with a Volunteer Appreciation Award in recognition for his dedication and leadership for the past 15 years as the Emergency Coordinator for Paulding County Amateur Radio Emergency Service. He served in this volunteer leadership position from 2008-2023.

As the Emergency Coordinator, Dave Fuller was responsible for leading Paulding County ARES volunteers through planning, preparedness, and response phases of emergency management to support Paulding County EMA. When presenting the award, Paulding County EMA Director Stephen M. Dooley said, “Organized and vetted volunteers are on the front line of any disaster response. We are able to accomplish our agency goals and assist our community partners as well as neighboring counties to the level that we do with the support of our EMA Volunteers.”
