SARASOTA COUNTY, FL - In January, Sarasota County held their annual Fire Fest at Carlton Reserve to promote the benefits Prescribe Fire. There were dozens of vendors ranging from fire related exhibits to K-9 demonstrations. It was a great, no cost education day for the hundreds of people who attended. Unfortunately, due to the drought, the County was unable to do a demo prescribe fire.
