Jan 18 — Howell Township, NJ: Brownie Troop 60820 from Taunton and Aldrich schools were given an instructional station tour by Southard Fire Department No. 1 with an emphasis on fire safety and community awareness. Firefighters showed the scouts the fire station, equipment, and fundamental safety procedures used in emergency situations. Members answered questions from the scouts and discussed how firefighters train, respond to calls, and work with other public safety agencies.
