December 31, 2025 — The Jamison Road Volunteer Fire Company closed out 2025 highlighting a year of significant operational activity, major equipment investments, and thousands of volunteer service hours dedicated to the Town of Elma and surrounding communities. According to the department’s year-end review, members responded to 503 emergency calls, including 292 EMS calls, eight structure fires, and numerous fire alarms, hazardous conditions, and service-related incidents.

The department maintained an average response time of 5 minutes and 29 seconds while an active membership of 33 volunteers contributed a combined 7,998 service hours.

During the year, the company placed approximately $350,000 in new, grant-funded equipment into service, including 18 MSA G3 SCBAs, LifePak 35 cardiac monitors, a LUCAS automated CPR device, and multiple thermal imaging cameras. Department officials noted that improvements in EMS cost recovery strengthened financial stability without raising taxes, ensuring continued high-quality emergency response moving into 2026.
