Haddonfield, NJ — Jan. 20 — Mutual aid partners and members of Haddon Fire Company No. 1 responded to a reported residence fire on Melrose Avenue. Chief 15 of Station 15 arrived at the scene and reported that there was fire coming from the house's attic.

To limit the fire and stop it from spreading to other areas of the building, firefighters advanced hose lines and used the incident command system. To make sure the fire was completely contained, crews finished overhaul and suppression operations. The Pennsauken Fire Department and the Collingswood Fire Department helped sustain staffing and coverage during the incident by providing fireground assistance. There were no recorded injuries to firefighters or civilians. Local authorities are still looking into what caused the fire.
