January 20-2026 Loudon NH 2-Alarm fire. 2215 hrs The Loudon fire department along with automatic mutual aid was dispatched to 115 Berry Road for a chimney fire with extension. Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke showing from the one and half story cape. The family and their dog escaped without injury. Loudon Deputy Chief William Lake said they had smoke pouring from the entire length of the roof. "We were pretty confident we had a pretty good fire in the attic, which is what was happening," "We basically had crews go in, they opened up the ceiling, got into the attic and extinguished the fire." Fire damage was contained mostly to the roof and attic, but Lake said the rest of the house suffered water damage. The fire is under investigation.
