This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

SPRING HILL, FL - On January 24th, Hernando Fire responded to a dwelling fire on Peach Tree Drive around 2:30 P.M. On dispatch of BC1, BC2, Engines 12 and 14, R12 and R13, Quint 1 and Quint 2, heavy smoke was visible from a distance. On arrival of Police, they encountered a nude man running around the exterior and demanding the Police get off his property. When the FD arrived, the home was pretty well-involved and brush began to catch fire behind the dwelling with some light wind moving along the area. Tanker shuttle was sent to the scene due to lack of hydrants in the area. Pasco County Fire also sent a brush and tanker truck to the scene to assist with the brush fire. It took 45 minutes to bring the fires under control.
