Fire-Rescue Units Respond to EMS Incident in Dividing Creek

Dividing Creek, NJ — January 16 — In response to an emergency medical services call, the Downe Township Fire/Rescue and Dive Team arrived in Dividing Creek. Utility 39 and QRV 39 were sent to assist on-site EMS personnel. While EMS personnel assessed and treated the patient, firefighters helped with scene coordination and supplied extra personnel. The units stayed on site to assist with patient mobility, access requirements, and keeping responders' workspaces safe.


In order to support medical operations and scene safety, fire-rescue units are frequently requested on EMS calls around the township. While other resources take care of scene support, these responses free up EMS personnel to concentrate on patient care.
