Washington Township, New Jersey — 15th January — After a recent training session, junior firefighters with the Washington Township Fire Department successfully obtained their CPR certifications. Three department CPR instructors led members through classroom review and practical skill improvement. Throughout the course, officials observed that the junior members showed excellent focus and comprehension. A crucial step in educating young members for future positions in emergency response and the fire department is CPR certification. Although it is anticipated that the abilities won't be needed in an emergency, teachers said the juniors can now help appropriately if needed. Firefighter Rick Moore was also acknowledged by the department for sharing his experience and helping with education. The training demonstrates the department's ongoing emphasis on preparedness, safety, and education in its junior firefighter program.
