Deptford Township, New Jersey — 24th January — A suspected home fire in Deptford Township's Blackwood Terrace neighborhood prompted the dispatch of District 9 units. Duty When Engine 933 arrived first, Lieutenant McMahon upgraded the assignment to a functional fire box after noticing smoke coming from the house. Engine 933 launched an inside assault and extended a handline. After arriving second due, Engine 931 advanced a second handline off Engine 933 and installed a five-inch supply line to the nearest hydrant. In order to support internal activities, Ladder Tower 926 came and carried out roof ventilation. Hurffville Road provided a backup water supply for Engine 934. In around 45 minutes, the fire was contained. Union Fire Company #1 was in charge of operations. The Deptford Fire Marshal's Office is still looking into the fire.
