Point Pleasant Beach, NJ — January 13 — Douglas Murray, a local photographer, recently visited Station 43 of Point Pleasant Beach Fire Company No. 2 to take pictures of volunteer firefighters and line officers. A temporary display at Point Pleasant Beach Town Hall will include a number of photos that showcase the men and women who work in the borough.
Hometown Heroes of Point Pleasant Beach is the name of the show, which will open later this month and continue through February. Members of the 2026 line officers, support officers, and a prior chief are pictured, showcasing both past and present leadership. The display honors volunteers who manage emergency response, training, and community responsibilities, according to department officials. Point Pleasant Beach Fire Company #2, located at 614 Laurel Avenue, invited locals and other firefighters to view the exhibit.
