WOOD-RIDGE, NJ - At approximately 5:59 P.M. on January 21st, the Wood-Ridge Fire Department was dispatched to Hackensack Street, between 4th Ave. and Wood-Ridge Ave., for a reported garage fire.

Upon arrival, there was heavy smoke coming from the detached garage. A Working Fire was struck, followed quickly by a second-alarm coverage assignment.

Working companies on scene included Wood-Ridge, a FAST team from Wallington, a truck from Hasbrouck Heights and an engine from Carlstadt.
