Additionally, from Saturday night through Monday afternoon, a Winter Storm Watch is in force. Particularly along the coast, there may be bouts of sleet or freezing rain along with widespread snowfall of 8 to 18 inches. Road closures and power shortages could make travel dangerous. Limiting travel, preparing homes and cars, keeping emergency supplies on hand, and checking on vulnerable neighbors are all suggested.
