As calls come in, members respond to emergencies at all times, working in the rain, snow, heat, and cold. Volunteers frequently leave their homes, families, and places of employment to offer emergency assistance, rescue services, and fire suppression. Crews can operate safely in a variety of situations with regular training and equipment preparedness. According to department officials, maintaining consistent response times depends on volunteer availability and preparation. Cooperation and support from the community are still crucial to maintaining operations.
