WALTHAM, MA - On the morning of January 19th, a man living at 179 Adams Street was taking a shower when he got out and saw smoke coming from the attic. With nothing on but a towel, he exited the apartment in 20-degree temperatures. Responding companies, Engines 1 and 4, Squad 5, Rescue 1, Ladder 2 and Medic 1, found fire coming from the attic. Firefighters were able to knock it down quickly, but there was still a lot of overhauling to be done. Nobody needed medical attention.
