Watchung, N.J. — January 9th — Local law enforcement officials were acknowledged and commended by the Watchung Fire Department for their ongoing assistance and collaboration. Firefighters emphasized how well they collaborated with Watchung PBA Local 193 and other law enforcement organizations they came across on a daily basis.

Police and firefighters frequently collaborate at traffic accidents, emergency scenes, investigations, and community gatherings. Responder safety is enhanced and effective operations are supported by clear agency cooperation and communication. Members of the department pointed out that maintaining public safety and assisting with emergency responses depend heavily on law enforcement.
