Gladstone, N.J. — January 7th — The Peapack Gladstone Fire Department honored longstanding member Douglas Fagan for his leadership and dedication during its annual installation meeting. Fagan received recognition for his almost 17 years of service as the company's Rescue Captain and for having previously held the position of Chief of the Department.

Chief Brad Fagan delivered the appreciation plaque, which had particular significance. Wood from the old white oak tree that originally stood at the Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church was used to sculpt it. The installation of officials and members for the upcoming year was another aspect of the meeting. The department's leadership encouraged locals who were interested in volunteering to find out more about helping their community and thanked all members for their ongoing dedication.
