Bridgewater, NJ — December 29 — The Finderne Fire Department, located at 672 E. Main Street in Bridgewater, responded to a reported car collision with a trapped victim near the Bridgewater Diner on U.S. Highway 22 East.

When Chief 30, Deputy 30, Assistant 30, Engine 303, and Rescue 30 arrived after the collision, they discovered one person trapped inside a car. To safely remove the patient, firefighters secured the car, managed risks, and carried out extrication procedures. Following evacuation, the patient was turned over to the Martinsville Rescue Squad for additional medical attention. While personnel worked on the highway and cleared the area, law enforcement helped regulate traffic.
