Peapack, NJ — December 22 — Due to a verified barn fire, the Far Hills-Bedminster Fire Department, which has its headquarters at 100 Miller Lane in Bedminster, was asked to send mutual aid into Peapack. Box Alarm 51-01 was used to deploy the response.
Truck 29 and Engine 29-1 were brought to the site by AC 29 and ten members. When they arrived, crews helped put out fires, and Truck 29 was set up to support defensive aerial operations. For about three and a half hours, members worked on the site, helping with cleanup, hotspot mitigation, and overhaul. In order to guarantee scene safety and finish fireground operations before being discharged, Far Hills-Bedminster firemen collaborated with Peapack Fire Department units and other mutual-aid organizations.
