Passaic hires seven new firefighters

On January 15th, the City of Passaic Fire Department proudly swore in seven new probationary firefighters under the leadership of Fire Chief Patrick Trentacost and under the direction of Chief Instructor Mandeville.


The firefighters took the oath of office after successfully completing rigorous training at the Passaic County Fire Academy. Their training included extensive classroom instruction and hands-on experience designed to prepare them for the demands of emergency service.


Chief Trentacost congratulated the new firefighters and emphasized the importance of professionalism, discipline, and service to the community as they begin their careers with the department.


The Passaic honorable Mayor Hector Lora was there to swear the newly assigned firefighters with the oath of office and gave them encouraging words of the challenging task that they might face in there new career and wish them the best of luck and may all return home safe.
