Basking Ridge, NJ — 19th December — A Z-155 fire alarm pull station call within the township prompted the Basking Ridge Fire Co. No. 1 & EMS to respond. A manually triggered fire alarm system prompted the dispatch of fire and emergency medical services.
As soon as they arrived, firemen searched the impacted areas, located the activated zone, and examined the fire alarm control panel. During the investigation, crews discovered no signs of smoke, fire, or dangerous circumstances. It was concluded that the activation was not an emergency. In order to ensure building safety, manual pull stations are intended to offer prompt indication of potential fire conditions. While firemen finished inspections before units were put back into action, EMS workers stayed on standby.
