January 12, 2026 — Bradford Fire Department members spent several hours last night decorating the walls of their new firehouse with a unique collection of fire department, law enforcement, and military patches drawn from personal collections. The display features patches from around the world, including Australia, Italy, and Sweden, along with more than 50 patches representing fire departments and law enforcement agencies from across Maine.

Department members said the collection highlights pride in the fire service and camaraderie among public safety professionals near and far. The Bradford Fire Department is welcoming additional patch donations and encourages anyone interested in contributing to reach out.
