December 29, 2025 — At approximately 2:30 a.m., the Monmouth Fire Department responded on mutual aid to a fully involved structure fire on Pelican Drive in the Town of Litchfield.
Crews arrived to find heavy fire conditions with the structure well involved, requiring a coordinated, defensive-style firefighting operation alongside Litchfield and additional mutual aid departments.
