Stewartsville Volunteer Fire Company Reflects on 385 Calls in 2025

The Stewartsville Volunteer Fire Company handled 385 service requests in 2025. EMS assistance, automated fire alarms, car crashes, fire investigations, vehicle and brush fires, CO alarms, hazardous materials responses, and other public safety calls were among these instances. Throughout the year, 1,933 man-hours were spent responding to emergencies by our 100% volunteer membership. In addition to responding to emergencies, members contributed through weekly training, regular equipment and apparatus inspections, monthly meetings, community activities including Memorial Day parades and National Night Out, and fire safety instruction in nearby schools. An extra 3,362 volunteer man-hours were contributed to these activities.
